When I was little, my favourite thing to do in the school holidays was climbing through the mangroves near my Nanna’s house. I think we’re so lucky to have a whole lot of mangroves down the road from our house, so Bella can do exactly as I did.

  1. These pics are great. Who needs toys hey?

  2. I am jealous of where you live! :)

  3. Must be a great place to learn about so many different animals too. It’s nice sharing things you loved to do as a family isn’t it?

  4. Our last home had a huge block that backed right onto the bay, we used to go crabbing amongst the mangroves, and at high tide would launch a canoe and go for a paddle or fishing. We live in such a great corner of the world don’t we!

  5. Lovely photos. Great trees to climb in

  6. Funny, we were down near the water at Currumbin Creek and Maddi was climbing up trees like this and I didn’t know what they were – I do now!!!!!!!! xxx

  7. A natural playground. Izzy likes to try and climb a tree round the corner when we go for short walks.

  8. Looks like great fun! My son Jeremy loves climbing trees too!
